Nourishing Narratives is a mobile film contest open to any youth (13-18 years old) in the United States. By providing a platform for youth to discover their own voices, Nourishing Narratives helps tell their stories and inspire a fair and just food system for all.

Students are invited to create thoughtful short films inspired by the food justice work happening in their communities — highlighting issues, people, experiences, and ideas that matter to them. Community organizations can serve as a source of inspiration as students explore food justice through storytelling, reflection, and creative expression.

Nourishing Narratives is a powerful example of how Mosaic Film Experience programs inspire students to think critically, tell meaningful stories, and engage their communities.
