What is Nourishing Narratives?
Nourishing Narratives invites youth to explore food justice through creative storytelling. Student films highlight solutions, community impact, and visions for a fair, equitable food system. Nourishing Narratives students don’t just consume culture. They create it.

Nourishing Narratives 2025
Last year’s student winners joined us for an unforgettable learning adventure in Los Angeles! Each winner and a parent or guardian were flown out to experience an exclusive private tour of the Academy Museum, a behind-the-scenes look at Paramount Studios, and a special screening of their winning films at the iconic Paramount Theater.

Winners Experience (2026)
Our goal is to grow our student experience this year and create something truly special for students and partners with an event that is full of learning, career opportunities and most importantly, fun!
Winners will be invited to our featured city for an immersive learning and celebration weekend: private museum and studio tours, screenings at an amazing area theater, panels with industry and food-justice leaders, and a celebratory reception with invited creatives and foundation partners.
To make this a once-in-a-lifetime experience, we seek sponsor support to expand and customize the program and create content to share with students and partners.
